Carairo Aviation and Other Transportation Photo Gallery The Bud Evans Commemorative Fly-in  The Shuttleworth Collection 2009 Spring Air Display at Old Warden was held on Sunday 3rd May. Due to gusting winds some aircraft could not be flown and the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Dakota did not arrive from RAF Coningsby. There was however still plenty of flying with Peter Teichman's P4...  A beautiful blue sky and light breeze meant that the Auster fly-in at Breighton was very popular with many visiting aircraft. A handful of Austers and large number of other types ensured that there was always something flying.  Breighton - Radial Engine Fly-in and RAC "At Home" Day. A very wet day with grey skies and almost constant drizzle. The Mustang was due to depart to an airshow but due to the weather stayed at home and put on an excellent display with the Hurricane.  Heavy rain in the days before the RV, Helicopter fly in meant there was a warning on the Real Aeroplane Club website that this event (the last scheduled for 2008) was in danger of being cancelled.
